Our Beliefs
Providence Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), firmly rooted in the Reformed heritage. We believe that the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

The Sovereignty of God
☀
Salvation by Grace Alone, Through Faith Alone, In Christ Alone
We are saved solely by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our own works or merit.
✝
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the only inerrant and infallible rule of faith and practice, sufficient for all of life.
God exercises supreme authority over all creation, sovereignly directing all things according to His holy and wise counsel.
Creeds & Confessions
Our doctrine comes from the historic creeds of the early church and the confessions of the Reformation, which provide a clear and pastoral summary of the Holy Scriptures. All our church officers subscribe to the Westminster Standards as a faithful summary of Scriptural teaching.

The Weekly Schedule at Providence
The following is the current schedule at Providence for official church gatherings. This schedule continues from Fall to Spring each year. During the summer, we break from our Sunday morning classes and Wednesday meetings. During the summer months, we have other fellowship opportunities, such as hymn sings and small group gatherings on a rotational basis.
Sunday Morning Classes

We invite you to join us before worship on Sunday mornings for one of our class offerings:
"Growing in God's Word: K5 - 3rd Grade
Catechism: 4th - 6th Grade

Sunday Morning Worship
10:30 AM
Our Sunday morning worship is comprised of a historically reformed liturgy and expositional preaching through a biblical text.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper the first Sunday of each month, and celebrate our Love Feasts, an extended time of fellowship and food, on a bi-monthly basis.
Wednesday Night Supper and Prayer Meeting, 6:00 PM
Prayer is a vital part of our privilege as the children of God. Providence enjoys a mid week fellowship together, sharing a meal, and breaking up into prayer groups for the various needs of our congregation and supported mission works.
